The Green River Montessori’s (GM) goal is to organize and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori activities for children in a specific group using approved curriculum and materials, hands on sensory experiences, intentional and meaningful curriculum activities, and skill building in all areas of child development.
History
30 years legacy
Green River Montessori (GM) was founded in 1991. The school was previously named Children's Montessori Center (CMC). The school has a great reputation in the community and has always believed in the Montessori method. In 2021, the owner decided to retire and the school was acquired by the NXY group and the name changed to Green River Montessori. We continue to proudly adhere to the highest standards of education and caregiving. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a supportive environment where your child will thrive. We will continue to provide quality education to our community.
Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is based on the traditional Montessori program, which was designed to help young children to develop themselves into independent individuals. The goal of our Montessori program is not to prepare your child for first grade. The goal of our program is to prepare your child to discover his or her place in our global society.
